The staff of BTR Management has a combined for over 75 years race management experience including some of the largest races in North Carolina.
Race Director Butch Robertson has directed or managed over 200 races, including the 10K National Championship, events for the US Olympic Committee, Special Olympics World Games Marathon and Half Marathon, he founded and has directed The Old Reliable Run for 25 years, the Great Raleigh Road Race and several other major events.
He is the founder of the Triangle Triathlon, Hot Hoops 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Capital City 3v3 Soccer Tournament, as well as directing the nationally recognized Holiday Invitational Basketball Tournament for 10 years. In addition, he has managed festivals, golf tournaments and expos.
